Gary completed his last day of the Triple Iron 422 journey - three Ironman distance triathlons in three consecutive days. Below is a look at Gary’s amazing Day Three …
Gary started at 7 a.m. with the 2.4 mile swim and got back about 8:45; taking it slow-smart according to his coach. He looked good coming out of the water, and took time to get some nutrition in the transition tent before off to the bike. Saw him on the bike around 11:20, and he had a smile!

We have thought about how hard this journey has been – one day of the bicycle alone would require physical therapy for us. I am relieved to learn you made it and are on the road to recovery. Only a powerful faith could have accomplished this as you have shown us all.

Believers througout the tri-state area are praying for you this week. Glory to God and hat’s off to you, dear brother

Gary, I am so happy for you. I’m the one who ran 4 miles with you on Friday. I also was near you during the bike-to-run transition, and I watched you finish on universalsports.com. To God be the glory, and I hope you made an astonishing impact for FCA. On raceday, I overheard someone say, “Have you heard about the guy doing three Ironmans this weekend?” Yes I know him very well

I’m in awe of you. I’m just training for my first triathlon. But I won’t just do it for me- I’ll do it for God. And for a group that needs help. thanks for the inspiration. What an amazing feat. You are a blessing to all.
