I just logged into the IronMan site and saw you had completed todays race. I had no doubt you would. There were too many prayers for your success and God's glory.

I wonder if the 26 guys in your age bracket you passed during your run segment knew the guy who just passed them had already swam over 7 miles, bicycled over 300 miles, and already ran 2 marathons since Friday morning?

Gary, I admire your faith and your courage. I was up running at 5:00 this morning and sent up a prayer for you, knowing that you had already been in the water for 30 minutes. I will see you on Saturday when I help out at the expo with the Team FCA Phoenix group. Jordan, the young man running alongside you this morning at 10:00, is my son.

Gary, you're either swimming, running or pedaling your way closer to your goal of 422.6 miles! I pray the Lord gives you encouragement of heart at this very moment.

I am not a great athlete. I love watching sports but don't have much fun playing. I pray that God Blesses Gary and helps him through this challenge.

As a triathlete and brother in Christ, I pray that you receive super power, strength and wisdom during these next three days. I pray that your mind will be with the Lord. I pray that you enjoy as best as you can every moment that you experience during these races. And I pray that God blesses you by giving inspiration to others.

Gary - what an inspiration! I am a triathlete and part-time PE instructor at my son's school. We have had various 'school challenges' throughout the years - to motivate the kids to run, climb and keep in shape. My prayer is for your event to be safe, and for others to see God's glory in what you do.
I will share your mission with my kids - I know it will be a motivation!

I can't express enough how amazed I am by what you are doing, may God bless you on this journey and give you the strength you need throughout. Colosians 3: (23-24) "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, 24since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward."

John 6:27 says "Do not work for foord that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. On Him God the Father has placed His seal of approval."

What you are doing is that food that endures for eternal life as I know this is going to bring many souls to Christ. I wiil be thinking and praying for you.

I pray that God will erase all fears and doubts that satan may attack you with during this event.
