FCA Endurance
FCA Endurance was established in 2005 as an FCA Sports ministry to accomplish FCA’s vision and mission in the endurance sports world through athletes living and competing for God’s glory. Since then, we have been uniting and equipping Christian endurance athletes to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and share that faith with others.
God is bringing together a national team of Christian endurance athletes who love the Lord, love their sport and feel called to impact those within their sport for Jesus Christ. The ministry’s goal is to unite people competing for a common goal (to glorify God), equip them to effectively share their faith through endurance sports, and create a stronger front to influence others and defeat spiritual warfare going on in society and sports. It also serves as a way for believers to recognize each other and share in a closer fellowship with one another while enjoying endurance sports.
Currently, more than 1,300 adults representing 49 states are racing boldly for Jesus Christ in FCA Endurance colors. Many of our athletes are members of our 30 certified Adult Huddles that are meeting weekly or monthly for training, Bible study, service projects, event ministry and fellowship.
FCA Endurance also has an official ministry presence (expos, Endurance/Iron Prayers, pre-race prayers, etc.) at numerous large and small events around the country, including the Boston Marathon, Ironman Arizona, the Kansas City Marathon, USA Cycling National Championships, Twin Cities Marathon, Escape from Alcatraz triathlon, Ironman Wisconsin, Wildflower, Ironman Florida, the Ironman and Ironman 70.3 World Championships and many others.
